TBI Alumni Meeting: "Seizing the Future Through Alumni Empowerment"
KUDUS, November 15, 2023 – The English Study Program of IAIN Kudus recently held an inspiring alumni meeting designed to strengthen professional networks, exchange experiences, and empower graduates in diverse career fields. The event, held in the campus multipurpose room, embraced the theme "Alumni Empowerment: Opening Opportunities and Enhancing Competence in the Global Era."
Reconnecting Alumni for a Shared Vision
The gathering brought together more than 100 alumni spanning multiple generations and professions, including educators, translators, media professionals, and business leaders. It provided a platform for attendees to share valuable insights, expand professional connections, and stay updated on developments in education and the global workforce.
In his opening remarks, Taranindya Zulhi Amalia, M.Pd., Head of the English Study Program, emphasized the program's commitment to fostering a lasting relationship with its alumni. “Alumni are an essential part of our education ecosystem, and this event is dedicated to empowering them to grow professionally and make meaningful contributions to society,” he stated.

One standout session, "Improving Professional Skills in the Global World," was presented by an alumnus now working as an international communication consultant. This session shed light on the critical role of adaptable language skills in navigating an increasingly interconnected global workforce.
Another engaging session, "Career Opportunities in English Course Development," featured alumni who have successfully launched their own English training centers. Participants gained practical insights into establishing and managing language education businesses, sparking discussions on the growing demand for innovative approaches in this field.

M. Akmalun Niam Zam Zami, an alumnus and current English teacher, highlighted the importance of such gatherings in nurturing camaraderie and professional support. “With a robust alumni network, we can tackle career challenges collectively while exploring opportunities that may have seemed out of reach before,” he remarked.
