Annual Meeting (Raker) and Upgrading EDSA 2025, organized by EDSA (Education Department Student Association) of IAIN Kudus, serve as the foundation for ensuring that an organization runs smoothly with all its goals and work programs. The annual meeting usually involves discussions on work programs and the vision and mission of an organization in each related division or department. This meeting was attended by all members of the EDSA functionarries from each division, including Daily Executive Board, HRD (Human Resource Department), PRA (Public Relations and Advocacy), TID (Talent and Interest Development), SAR (Social Activities and Religion), Medcom (Media and Communication), and CMD (Competition Management Development). They took place yesterday morning, Wednesday (05/02/2025), on the 3rd floor of the Rectorate Building at IAIN Kudus.

The event was attended by the Head of the Tadris Bahasa Inggris Program at IAIN Kudus, Mrs. Taranindya Zulhi Amalia, M.Pd. In addition, several former and current EDSA leaders were present, including EDSA Chief Aisyah Nuriyatul Mufarihah and Vice Abdullah Kafabih from the 2023 EDSA leadership, as well as Chief Setya Adji Nugroho and Vice M. A’izza I’lmanaa from the 2024 EDSA leadership.

The Annual Meeting (Raker) and Upgrading event of EDSA 2025 began with the recitation of holy verses from the Qur'an and shalawat. This was followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, by all members of the organization, strengthening the spirit of nationalism. The event continued with opening remarks from the Head of HMPS Tadris Bahasa Inggris, Arif Khasanul Izza, and the Head of English Education Department of IAIN Kudus, Mrs. Taranindya Zulhi Amalia, M.Pd.

After her speech, we took a group photo to capture the warm and memorable moment. Furthermore, the 2023 EDSA Chief Aisyah Nuriyatul Mufarihah and the Vice Chief Abdullah Kafabih continued the event with a Sharing and Caring session for all organization members that day. "Your desire to join this organization must come purely from yourself. That way, you will carry out the responsibilities given to you with sincerity and be able to reflect on how important you are to the organization," said the Chief of EDSA 2023.

The event continued with an evaluation session led by the previous Chief and Vice Chief of 2024 EDSA, Setya Adji Nugroho and M. A'izza I’lmanaa. They discussed professionalism in an organization. After listening to the stories, advice, and evaluations from the Chief and Vice Chief of EDSA, all the members of the organization felt motivated and more enthusiastic. Following that, the event continued with a group photo session with the previous Chief and Vice Chief of EDSA, which left a strong impression of unity and spirit in the organization.

The next activity was a department meeting, which was also attended by each coordinator. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the work programs that will be implemented during EDSA 2025. It is hoped that all students in the English Department at IAIN Kudus will become more active, innovative, and able to develop themselves in a more positive direction, as well as enhance their valuable talents. I believe that the work programs proposed by EDSA 2025 will bring positive energy to all English Department students at IAIN Kudus, wrapped more enjoyably and engagingly. After the various activities that took place that day, it was time to conclude the event with a group photo to create a warm and unforgettable sense of togetherness.
