Kudus, October 1, 2023 - The English Department students at IAIN Kudus enjoyed a wonderful time during their recent Family Gathering. It is heartening to witness students coming together and enjoying themselves. It is commendable that the EDSA board committee was successful in orchestrating such a delightful event for all to relish from September 30 to October 1, 2023. The event was initiated by the EDSA board committee for the 2022/2023 period, led by Chairman Setya Adji, Secretary Annisa, and Treasurer Laily Kurniasari.

It's impressive to see how the EDSA board committee managed to pull off the Family Gathering event in such a short time frame. Despite briefly pausing for the EDSA week event, the committee was able to successfully organize the event spanning from September 19-22. It is remarkable that 97 out of 117 new students participated in the event, which surely helped them strengthen their relationships and feel more connected to the English Department. Then the Head of English Education/Tadris Bahasa Inggris (TBI) Study Program, Mrs. Taranindya introduce and explore the vision and aims of TBI Study Program.

The event, titled "THE AVENGERS: The Annual Valuable Event For All Generations," was designed with the aim of providing new students with a comprehensive understanding of the TBI Study Program. The event was conducted in an ambiance of conviviality, and the new students were able to partake in a range of activities that left them with lasting memories. The events division, in particular, deserves commendation for its efforts in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment throughout the event. We hope that the new students found the event rewarding and gained valuable insights into the TBI Study Program.

The solidarity and passion of the incoming students contributed to the success of this year's event, according to Fita from the events division. The goal of this gathering is to foster camaraderie among EDSA members and to facilitate the smooth running of the organization.
