On Tuesday (23/05), Vice Rector 2 of IAIN Kudus and the Head of the Tadris English Department (TBI) welcomed the foreign volunteers who arrived at IAIN Kudus last night. Starting at 09.00 am, the MC opened the event, followed by brief remarks and introductions.

Welcoming the volunteers, Dr Ahmad Supriyadi M.Hum, Vice Rector 2 of IAIN Kudus introduced IAIN Kudus in general and mentioned that IAIN Kudus is a moderate Islamic educational institution that accepts Islam and other religions. IAIN Kudus also accepts foreign students from any country. Furthermore, Dr. M. Nur Ghufron, M.Pd., the Dean of Tarbiyah Faculty, expressed his delight at the presence of the volunteers who had joined the Hosting Programme at IAIN Kudus. The Head of the English Department also added that the program would plan and organize a rundown of further activities at IAIN Kudus.

After being introduced by Taranindya Zulhi Amalia, M.Pd., the Chief of TBI, to the representatives of faculties and units at IAIN Kudus, the volunteer named Alexi casually introduced his origin and background in coming to this green campus. The man who earned a bachelor's degree in geography for two years in France and one year in Romania was glad to be well-received in Indonesia and glad to be able to adapt here.
