Improving English skills in a series of EDSA WEEK events
EDSA (English Department Students Association) IAIN Kudus holds competitions and seminars on one agenda called EDSA WEEK, with the theme “Beyond the World with Englishâ€. This event is an annual agenda held by EDSA to improve students' English skills. EDSA WEEK was also attended by English students and several high school students. It lasts for a week starting from 12-16 September 2022. Several competitions were held including speech, storytelling, news anchor, role play, and Several competitions were held including speech, storytelling, news anchor, role play, and sing a song. The event was held for a week and was closed with an international by Mr. Sam from Australia.
Edsa week is very lively and supported by all students, this is evidenced by the totality of the participants in the competition and so many participants in the international webinar. Mr. Sam as a speaker experience in building and also introducing the Indonesian-Australian community namely AIYA (Australia Indonesia Youth Association). In it, several activities are useful in language and cultural exchange, and there is also a competition that can allow going to Australia. Of course, in this activity, students get new experiences in practicing their English.
