TBI news - literacy is crucial for students because it can be a provision for facing the final test (theses). It made EDSA IAIN Kudus take an initiative to hold seminars that can provide additional knowledge for TBI students in preparing their research. Bringing the theme "Achieve a Myriad Achievements Through Writing Essays" and was held on Tuesday, April 20, 2020. This event was held virtually through  zoom meeting and was attended by the chief of English Education Department, Mrs. Hj. Alfu Nikmah, M.Pd and the Lecturer of TBI IAIN Kudus, Mr. Nuskhan Abid, M.Pd (as moderator).

The speaker at the acdemic writing seminar has various works in the field of writing. Our special guess is a lecturer from UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret), Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati, M.Pd. She provided material and explanations about tips in writing an article that was good, correct, interesting and in accordance with the latest references. She also revealed that in making a research paper title, we need to read a lot of previous and latest research journals. Thus, it will add insight to students in making an article. In addition, students can also ask their friends or lecturers to provide suggestions or input in correcting article.

We can take a lot of lessons from the seminar that have been held and hopefully, students will be more motivated to be enthusiastic about reading and writing so that TBI students can prepare themselves for various competitions and final semester tests (theses).
