Creating Animation Video as a Learning Media to Speak English
Community Service Program from Home (KKN-IK DR) was opened by the rector of IAIN Kudus at 1st July, 2020. Many groups of KKN-IK DR are still hesitated about what kind of dedications should they render during COVID-19 out break. At first, the first generation students of English Education Department created English learning videos for Tadris Bahasa Inggris IAIN Kudus YouTube channel. There was a creative idea coming from group 69, they made animation videos created using Powtoon as media learning. A member of Group 69 who take a role as producer and script writer has taken advantage of the opportunity to create animation videos using Powtoon and it was uploaded in Tadris Bahasa Inggris Youtube channel. The videos are about learn to speak English in 3 minutes. Three topics are defined as follows:
- Many Ways To Ask For Help

- How to respond Thank You ???

The animation video is presented using Indonesian language in order to give understanding for young learners as the target viewers. As English Education Department students, we should be more creative to design learning English by utilizing the technology and information. Those videos were uploaded at the end of August 2020.
The Supervisor, Hj. Alfu Nikmah, M. Pd. appreciated those program, and hopes that the animation videos could be use as a learning media for English Education Department classroom at IAIN Kudus also. It involves the group 69 members as the tutor of teaching English using animation video.
