On Wednesday the 7^th of March 2018, the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) curriculum team completed task for formulating a national standard curriculum for the English Study Program. The activity which lasted for one day was attended by internal lecturers from IAIN Kudus, leaders of IAIN Kudus, stakeholders and a team of experts. In addition, this activity was also attended by High School English Subject Teachers.

The activity was initiated to develop English Study Program so that the curriculum could be the standardized fundamental learning. Furthermore, the Head of English Study Program, Alfu Nikmah, stated that this activity was expected to be able to encourage the English Study Program to be more advanced and have awareness for potential English teachers.

One of the stakeholders who came from Madrasah Aliyah stated that this kind of activity was a positive form of activity and showed a mutually beneficial relationship between University and the world community. He further emphasized that the community would be very grateful to be involved in this activity.

The English study program is a new study program established in 2016, therefore it is necessary to formulate a curriculum that can answer the needs and challenges of the times, especially those related to competent English teachers in the future.
